A Different Ending
Dear Claire-Bear,
My disease is really serious now and I don't know what it will lead to.
I want you to remember that no matter what, I'll always be here with you.
With love,
mom
Mom,
I'm scared. I don't want you to leave me! But I know it won't happen.
I know that you'll always be here for me. And I'll always be here for you.
In the last few months I realized that I didn't pay much attention to you.
And I'm sorry for that mom! I feel like it's all my fault!
Love,
C.
Claire,
It's not your fault baby. And now I have really good news.
It's becoming better. And from now I promise you we will spend more time together.
I love you,
mom

The book is about a girl named Claire who lives in London, with her rabbit Peter and her mom. So she barelly talks to her mom because she's always at work and Claire is always with her friends. Her mom got the breast cancer and now she's not just at work, she's also at the hospital. Claire is taking care of the house, the bunny and the food, and sometimes her mom's friend Gina comes over to help her. The disease is becoming really serious and Claire thinks that she didn't think about her mom more often. When her mom was always at the hospital and everything was wrong, the she saw how much she wasn't with her mom, and how she should be. In the end the mom died. The Setting
The main character
Claire
In the book, the author never explained how Claire looked.
This book wasn't made into a movie, so I think this is what Claire would look like:
Claire is a 15 year old girl, who only communicates with her mom through notes on the refrigerator. They never have time to see each other during the day. Then, her mom is diagnosed with breast cancer, and she didn't even get to see her before she past away.
